Café Voisin Christmas 1870 Menu
The menu at the upscale Café Voisin on Christmas Day, 1870, the 99th day of the siege, included stuffed donkey head, elephant consommé, roast camel, kangaroo stew, and cat-flanked-by-rats. Café Voisin was near to Crémazie’s neighborhood but far beyond his price range.
